Dad's Woodworking Shop
Panel Pack with Pattern

My dad has been a cabinetmaker and builder all his life.  Growing up I spent many hours working in his shop with him. This quilt was his 80th birthday gift. I hope you enjoy sharing it with the woodworker in your life!

This quilt is constructed "quilt as you go" -- or as I like to call it "Quilt First Piece After."  Quilt the blocks first, then assemble them after with joining strips. If you are learning free-motion quilting with the Free-Motion Mastery in a Month daily lessons, the quilt can be made following the lessons.

This panel pack includes:

-- 18 Tool Blocks for the front of quilt(2 yards)

The Tool blocks have cream and blue backgrounds. The quilt requires 12 of one color and 6 of the other (see the image of the panel in the images above). Each panel pack contains 2 complete panels which give you 6 cream blocks and 6 blue blocks. The other 6 blocks in the kit are either cream OR blue. The photos above show both versions. When ordering your panel pack, select either Cream or Blue

Border of panels are used for the measuring tape and screw head joining strips on the front of the quilt. These border strips will do most of the vertical blocks; you will have to use another fabric on a few blocks.

Pattern includes a custom Wood Grain Tracing Sheet designed exclusively for this quilt.

You will need additional fabrics for the solid blocks, borders, joining strips and binding. These fabrics and quantities are listed in the pattern.

Finished size: 59" x 79"
