A Zippered Case from Free-Motion Mastery in a Month Practice Blocks

In early August I got to spend a couple of days at Nashua Sew & Vac in Nashua, New Hampshire teaching Free-Motion Mastery in a Month. Here are a couple of photos I received from Sherry, the Education Director at the store, who had invited me there to teach and took the class with me. I love what she did with her practice blocks!
Here's what Sherry had to say:
Hi RaNae,
I thought you might like to see what I did with my practice pieces from your class. My bag measures 12 inches square. I seamed it together, using the "Jenny Join", which is zigzagging first and then doing a decorative stitch over the seams. I love this technique and have used it often. Of course you can also do the "quilt as you go" method. This bag will hold your book and all the tools for practicing all in one place. I love organization!
Again, thanks for sharing your wonderful quilting techniques!
I hope all is well with you.
Best
Sherry
