For Christmas this year I made these simple quilted ornaments with leftover pieces of quilted fabric and other scraps of fabric, batting and ribbon I had around my studio.

Put a ribbon on it for an ornament or a gift tag, or just use them as coasters for glasses. Here's our tree with the finished ornaments. But you could also do them in other shapes for other holidays - I'm looking forward to making a batch of Easter Eggs!
