Learn techniques for designing your own unique and original spiral quilt. We’ll explore “seeing between the blocks”, flow forms, coloring flow forms, color and value, and mirror symmetry. The class explores and builds on the techniques my books Simply Amazing Spiral Quilts and Magnificent Spiral Mandala Quilts (Fall 2010). There is no sewing in this class -- it focuses just on design. However, it is intended to be taught in conjunction with my Simply Amazing Nesting Spirals Half-Day Workshop where you'll learn the sewing techniques needed to finish your design into a “simply amazing” spiral quilt.

Class kit includes spiral block "block puzzle" to aid in quilt design and extra copies to use at home.
