I did have a UTI, but a CT scan and subsequent MRI revealed something more serious — ovarian cancer. Turns out that stupid UTI — which I caught by swimming in a public pool a few weeks earlier — may have saved my life!\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe good news is that we caught it early — Stage 2 — and at this stage it is very treatable. But often ovarian cancer often goes undetected until it has spread throughout the body because the symptoms are hard to reccognize.
