Ripple Effect

This quilt was for my sister Annette. I wanted to make her a quilt with a Grandma block in it, and I didn't have a lot of time to design or make one, so one Saturday afternoon I just started adding strips of fabric to the sides of one of Grandma's blocks. No measuring, no advance plan. I just kept going until it was big enough to cover the top of a bed or to curl up in on the couch.
